Punjab launches Chief Minister’s e-Rozgaar Training Programme

e-Rozgaar Training Programme is an initiative started by the Government of Punjab, under the leadership of its Chief Minister with the objective of providing training opportunities to youth to minimize unemployment using internet based freelancing. The programme is specially designed for the unemployed youth so that they can obtain freelancing training to enhance their skills, which will allow them to earn an honorable earning online and shall facilitate in a secure livelihood in the long term.

In order to be eligible for the e-Rozgaar program, a candidate must have completed 16 years of years, must be under 35 years of age and should have a domicile of Punjab. Various course tracks are provided including technical, non-technical, creative designing and freelancing. Course trainings will be provided in different e-Rozgaar situated in various districts of Punjab free of cost. On successful completion of training, candidates will be awarded a training certificate.

This training program will empower youth to work on their own and contribute positively for Pakistan by bringing in foreign exchange for themselves and for the country. It will essentially equip young individuals with opportunities for upward economic and social mobility and will allow fresh degree holders to develop their critical soft skills and ensure a healthy career growth. It will expose the productive career opportunities like freelancing, to the youth along with alleviating the status of women by facilitating them to earn a virtuous living while working from home.
