Huawei Mate 10 is expected to be released on 16th October
Huawei Mate 10 is set to be launched on 16 October as planned. Last year, Huawei launched 4 different models of their Mate 9 device which was the regular Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, Mate 9 Lite, and the Mate 9 Porsche Design Edition. This year we have only learned details about three devices that are said to be a part of the Huawei Mate 10 series, Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and the Mate 10 Lite.
Huawei is launching a bezel-less phone with EntireView screen. The tip suggests this will be the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, but the display panel will be AMOLED with QHD resolution. The camera will be identical to the regular version. Since the front side will be mostly taken by the screen, the fingerprint scanner goes on the back. The chipset will also be the latest Kirin 970.
The third option is named Mate 10 Lite and will come with the same 5.9″ FullHD screen as the regular version, but without the Leica goodness at the back.

Other rumors state that the phone will likely come with a Kirin 970 system on chip, with 4GB of RAM. There is also likely to be 64GB of storage on the standard model.
First talking about the leaked render of the Huawei Mate 10, shared by popular tipster Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), the image suggests that the handset will feature narrow bezels on the top and bottom of the display at front. Interestingly, the smartphone’s design in the leaked image is similar to the one seen earlier in the CAD render video of the Huawei Mate 10, which was leaked earlier this month.
Coming to the pricing, the Mate 10 smartphone has been tipped to be launched in three configurations – 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, and 6GB RAM/256GB storage. The three variants will be priced at CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs. 42,300), CNY 4,899 (roughly Rs. 48,200), and CNY 5,599 (roughly Rs. 55,000) respectively.
On the other hand, the Mate 10 Pro is expected to be launched in four configurations: 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/256GB storage, and 8GB RAM/256GB storage. These variants will be priced by the company respectively at CNY 5,499 (roughly Rs. 54,000), CNY 6,199 (roughly Rs. 60,900), CNY 6,899 (roughly Rs. 67,800), and CNY 7,499 (roughly Rs. 73,600).
The leaked render suggests that the smartphone will pack dual camera setups at the front as well as the back. The fingerprint sensor can be seen located right below the rear camera panel in the leaked renders. In his report, Evan Blass has shared that both rear and front camera modules come with 16-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors respectively, with each tagged with a secondary 2-megapixel sensor.
